The Weiler Foundation Scholarship Program

The Weiler Foundation Scholarship Program provides scholarships to eligible dependents of current
Weiler employees. A student is considered a dependent if they are claimed as a dependent on the
employee’s tax returns.

There are two types of scholarships available:

For 2‐year associate degrees or trade schools: $1,000 per year, maximum of 2 years
For 4‐year degrees: $1,000 per year, maximum of 4 years

A student may receive a maximum of $4,000.

The following requirements must be met to apply:

Scholarship recipient may choose any community college, technical/professional school, trade

program or college/university in the United States.

The recipient of the scholarship must enter school by the fall of the award year and must

continue without interruption for the full academic year unless extenuating circumstances are
presented and approved by the Board.

Scholarship checks are mailed directly to the institution and can be used for tuition and fees only.

For your dependent to be eligible to apply for a scholarship, you must have been employed at Weiler
full‐time for a minimum of 6 months. You also must continue to be a full‐time employee at the time of
each annual recurring scholarship payout.

The selection of recipients is at the discretion of the Board of the Weiler Foundation.

The deadline for applications is May 1. Recipients will be notified via email by June 1.
